i have a Clarion CD deck with a flip down/detachable face. you have to flip the face down to change cd's, but lately when i flip the face down the whole thing turns off and won't let me change cd's. anyone else had this problem? what can i do to fix it without getting a new one?

 

All HU's with moving and/or motorized face plates are prone to break sooner or later. It's inevitable with delicate moving parts like that in an automotive environment. Other than sending it in for repair I seriously doubt there's anything you can do to fix it.
