Changing buttons

I have a 93 Camaro. As you know all my interior stuff is yellow and grey. My CD player does not work. I am about to get one off a 96.

How hard is it to take it them apart and change the buttons?

I have done it, but I just changed out the whole CD player. I have also done the a/c controls and head light controls. Looks alot better to me.
