Bridging?
Bridging (sometimes called strapping) is a way to combine both channels of a 2 channel amp together to work as a single, more powerful channel of amplification. In most cases a bridged amp is used to power a subwoofer.
Bridgeing channels of the amplifier are most often used on subwoofers. You can wire 1 sub on two channells, or you can wire 2 subs in series to create a lighter load for the amp.
The amp you use will usually note the terminals to be used for this wiring ( one positive terminal and one negative terminal ). For more info look for series and parellel connections for sub woofers and for ohm load and stability.
