i JUST recently started visiting termpro again...........now theres a big Resonant Engineering bandwagon, but DD still gets a lot of praise (i think its deserved).

the part i dont like about termpro is the large portion of teenage punks recommending and/or criticizing stuff theyve never even used. you just gotta filter their posts out.
Yeah i remember the big shocker 2 craze that swept the boards... good times

I got the opportunity to hear the RE SE10, that little bugger was impressively loud, and i agree DD still deserves that amount of praise they get in the SPL arena, they kick some major ***!!! The thing that irritates me is that they think they are everything to everybody... i heard a 9515 D in a SQ setup and it sounded better than i was expecting, but it was nothing better than any average sub. I was a little used to the Brahma when i heard it, and the difference was HUGE.

In SPL the 9515 definatly kicks ***, but definatly not all things to all people.

DD9515 is not quite a SQ sub.

ive heard a good install with the SQ series (9100 i think) with moderate power (500ish)..........sounded very very good.

DD component speakers can also sound beautiful...although expensive.

Image Dynamics makes really clean sounding subs.

I have an IDQ12 powered by a 300-watt Xtant amp and it sounds great. Hits hard and sounds really clean.

They have a better sub, a step up from mine, called the IDMAX. I imagine it'd be even better sounding.

The Max is a danm fine sounding sub. I got a chance to demo one in my car for a few days. I liked it a lot.

Final choices:
-JBL P1220 $145
-Elemental Designs e12K.44 K series $135
-AudioQue LW Series $150
-Elemental Designs e12O.44 O series $175

Like I said before I want SQ rather than SLP, which of those subs (dual setup + 2 600RMS amps in 2 ohm mode) will sound better??? I will buy what you will choose
Thanks

i dont think you can go wrong with either sub

basically i chose the audioque because it offers a bit more power handling and excursion capabilities than the O series, for slightly less money.

personally i think the ED is a classier looking speaker, but its not about looks, its about performance.
