Best Bang for Buck Q

Im pretty new to the whole sound system arena and only have like $300 to put into subs and an amp and was wonderin what brands to look for. I know its not gonna be show winning or that great or anything but i just want something better out of my sound system. I already have some pioneer 6 1/2's, 2 tweeters, a pioneer HU, and an MTX amp ( dont know specs on anything since they were there when i got it) Any info at all about your experiences or routes to take would be good. Thanks in advance

Either build your own box or find a cheap but well built box at a local shop. You should pay no more then $50. Go with a single 10. Find yourself a cheap amp to power it. The JBL BP300.1 is realiable and outputs rated power.

Your not going to get much for that amount of money. I would look for something used....see if any of your friends have to many bills and need to sell their system to pay for them (but listen to it first to make sure that everything is working properly)

Friends are a good way to get car audio stuff.

I currently have 1 Fosgate 12 and a Punch 160a2 and it has very good bass for only $50. $30 for the amp from a friend of a friend and $20 for the sub from one of my bros. All legit.

i would look into kicker for subs, and boss for amps. the kicker subs deliver good sound at great prices. boss isnt the best amp out, but good bang for buck.
