Maybe something's shorting out causing the alarm to trigger due to volatage drop.

I had a 92 Z28 with an alarm that kept going off. It ended up being the cig lighter was stuck in causing the battery to drain enough to trigger the alarm.

I'd start by checking to make sure that everything that's "off" is actually off.

I had the same problem a couple years ago back when it was still under warranty. Took it to the dealer thinking it was probably a faulty shock sensor. They replaced the sensor and the problem still continued. They said that in order to truly diagnose it they'd probably have to pull out a bunch of wires. I didn't like the sounds of that so I decided to disable the sensor.

If you can't get it fixed, check your owners manual and you'll find a section describing how to disable the shock sensor. The alarm will still sound if a door is opened, but won't sound if something hits the car.

The shock sensor is located in the passenger side of the rear storage area. It's under the removable plastic in the section that houses the spare tire and jack.

It's got a sensitivity adjustment on it. You could try adjusting that to see if it helps or not. But without access to the manual here at work I can't tell you any more.

I'll try to remember to check my owners manual and give you directions on how to disable the shock sensor.
