Car Alarm and Radio problems

ive been having trouble with my key fob (keyless remote) it is either wore out or something ive replaced the battery so many times sometimes it works and now not at all. I have to literally jump in and start it before the alarm goes off, at the same time the stereo does not wanna work them seem to coincide with one another if I wait long enough or hit the unlock button the stereo will come back on. I know they are related but im not sure how go about fixing it. Any suggestions? disconnect alarm (not sure how) or where to chase down the wires to the alarm. Thanks in advance

Re: Car Alarm and Radio problems

I've heard that some after market alarm systems have a battery in them that go south.I would take the car to a stereo installation place to have it checked out. Also, shoebox(I think) has a website for programming your key fob.Hope this helps.
