99 TA monsoon radio

Is there a way to hook up an amp to the stock monsoon system for a sub?

Re: 99 TA monsoon radio

If you can get behind a speaker and get to the signal wire, you can use a Line Out Converter. These take the signal from the speaker wire, and convert it into RCA line outs. They then hook into your amp so you can power more speakers. The only problem is you'll get only one speaker's signal, and if the music fades, you'll lose the other speakers you have hooked up.

Schoche makes a few harnesses that hook directly between your head unit and the harness that's in the car and provide for line out outputs to amps, check 'em out.

This is a generic one, but should work with a little splicing.

I have the line out converter to a Kenwood 1000w amp (i forget which model) and a 10W6. It sounds awesome.
