Maybe there's something GM hasn't told us about yet...the "Blue Devil" has vtec. 
I voted Stingray...heritage. Otherwise I also like Corvette ZL1.

I don't know if Blue Devil would work very well. If it were to be called "Blue Devil", then IMO it could only be offered in ONE colour... blue. And it would be called "Devils Blue" or something like that.
I know it sounds picky, but imagine this:
"So what do you drive?"
"A Red Blue Devil."
"A what? That doesn't sound right..."
Or:
*Looking at a bright yellow Vette*
"So is that the Z06?"
"Nope... the Blue Devil."
*awkward silence...*
Just something I think would have to be a consideration if the name were to have a colour incorperated.

What a pity cause the original ZR-2 was bad **** (meaning LS6 vette)

What is the Super Corvette's target competition? The big boy supercars like Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini, etc, correct? When you think of Ferrari you think of a Ferrari-red sports car, no? But all Ferrari's are not red. Even the Testarossa could be ordered in other colors, even though is literally named "Red Head". So what if GM wants to establish "blue" for their super car? (Yeah, I know, all corvettes should be red anyway, but play along here.) So they come up with a special shade of blue that is only available on the "Blue Devil" and viola, a supercar is born!
I still think "Zora" would be a cool name. The Corvette enthusiast that can afford to buy one would see the hertitage in the name, and it would be not at all unlike the Ferrari Enzo.
