-I agree 100% that the Base, Z28 and SS models need to look different. SS with a hood scoop, Z28 with twin heat extractors, and the rest with non descriped, whatever.
-They cant forget about the V6 as that is the sales leader of the Camaro. Make the V6 something that really stands out so that it is attractive to everyone. Body kits and what not should be available. Attract kids into the showroom. Make sure that it doesnt look like the Z28 or SS models.
-It needs to be less low slung mini-vette, and more like the GTO in the way you sit in it. Sit in the GTO, and thats how it should feel. Its not like sitting in a sedan, but its not like sitting in a Vette. Its that happy median that will get people driving these as dailys.
-Offer a speical edition model every few years to keep the line fresh.
-It needs to have ttops, but with the rumors, it doesnt seem like its gunna happen.
-It needs to go back to its long nose/short deck idea. Less rake in the windshield. Right around the third gen rake, mabye even less.
-I still like the idea of a hatchback. Maybe not that huge glass hatch, but some up with something. Id like to see the Malibu/Equionx sliding and reclining seats for the rear. That would be a GREAT selling point to finaly get 4 real sized people in the car.
-Im sure with the way GM interiors are inproving, that the Camaro will have a quality interior. How about a little brushed aluminum trim action GM?
-And please...PLEASE!! A 3 spoke steering wheel, and give one to
-Also offer all the goodies like Navi, OnStar(so the cops can track you racing...), 6disk cd player, a 10 speaker system, along with small performance packages like an improved exhaust system, improved intake track, short throw on the 6spd. And a paddle set up would be sick! Hell, if it was just like a tiptronic + and - autostick, I would be happy. I always have one hand one the wheel, one of the shifter anyway.
-And would it kill you GM to make a dual exhaust for the car?

that, and the basics. RWD, manual and auto option, V6 or V8, 2drs, 4 seats, and the name Camaro on the rear deck.

I am pretty shocked no one mentioned price.

That will be a big determining factor as well.

1. I can accept a small increase over 4th gen (afterall, when does GM come out with a suceeding generation and make it cheaper?)

2. Very close to Mustang in price.

3. Great build quality/fit and finish (no rattles, gaps ect)

3. V8 optional on the base car!

Do not stray from the fundamentals of the pony car formula. And give it a real nice interior with a touch more room here and there.
