sorry, didnt read the whole thread so i dont kno if somebody said this already but..
the reason bikes wont be it next is for a few reasons:
1) insurance is freaking outrageous for a 16-20 yearold or pretty much anybody because of the ability to wreck quite easily
2) you cant drive bikes in the rain or snow, so youd likely only see them as all year round vehicles in florida, texas, cali, i.e. anywhere where its always warm
3) even if you have the ability to drive in winter, yuo dont want too, its freaking cold!!
4) anybody who has a bike for summer and car for winter wouldnt be able to afford insurance for that kind of setup.

imo, those are the obvious reasons sportbikes cant be the next trend, and most likely lend themselves to being the reason bikes will never be a "hot" trend

i have to say though, sportbikes look tempting

One trend that I like is older luxury cars to hop up. I am thinking of getting a Mark VIII, adding a blower and having a real sleeper. Maybe the kids will like the "grandpa" mobiles in the future. As to what new cars they will like, who knows.

Iam seeing a lot of Mark VIII's getting modded around here. Why not they look cool and pretty much have the same drivetrain as a Cobra and cost half as much.

IMO the used luxury cars is the next trend, because the insurance is cheap, high power V8, they cost less than most performance cars, and they tend to be more reliable.

the avrage ricer spends from 2,000 to 4,500 on the car and then do mods. so as 4 gens come down in price they will buy them because they know they are fast from getting whooped on all these years. i am 22 and 4 years ago i had a 77 camaro and it was like i was god everyone loved it and there were 1-2 if any rice
anywhere now i notice other people 20-28 buying f-bodys and stangs, thunderbirds monte ss's gn's cutlass supreme's and these are 20-28 year olds so rice is dying atleast in erie pa

The 93-97 camaro looks just like a GEO Storm from the front few. That is why I will never buy one, Only a 98+ for me f I get a 4th gen.
I guess thats personal opinion...because I specifically bought a 97 for the front end (and I got the new interior and new tail lights) so it was the car for me...I didnt want a 98+ car because lots of people (myself included) thinks they look too similar to "catfish" chryslers...the exception is the SS, the hood really makes them look awesome, but otherwise I'm not a big fan...and I LIKE the way 3rdgens look...

I agree the next big thing will be the "rally" style AWD cars....

Third Gens.

When it comes to the 4th Gen, LT1 cars are the 1's to have style-wise because of the front and taillights. I don't know how LS1 owners can come out everyday and look at them and be happy. They are some of the weirdest looking cars out there, same goes for the LT1 and LS1 Firebirds, although the LS1's looked a little better. LS1 Camaros are the fastest production Chryslers ever made.

IMO the best looking 4th gens are the Formula Firehawks and the baddest looking f-body was the 92 Firehawk.

I'd say the LS1 Firehawks in particular might be the best looking.

The best looking 4th gen never in production:

1998 LS1 Firehawk with fixed headlights

Maybe it is opinion, but I would definetly bet on most agreeing with me that the LT1 cars look a little better.
