I also dont like how the front is really low and pointy, I like the bluntness of the 98+ camaros

My neighbor is selling his 91 Ford Econoline van. You'll definately like it, it's got a "blunt" front end.

93-97s look like Geo Storms?

98+ looks like a Malibu.

As I said previously, I think this trend already passed you by. Sales spiked in the late 90s (sportbike sales never really touched cruiser sales even at their peak) and have been dropping recently, and the ultimate indication that this trend has run the course is that they made a ****-poor movie about it Sportbiking will always be less common than hotrodding due to the difficulty of operating a bike and the not-insignificant operating costs.

The limiting factor to off-road rally racing and off-roading is the land-use issues that have heated up in the last 10-20 years.

I dont think the speed bike trend has peaked since most GenY'ers are just becoming old enough to drive. While GenX has a smaller population then the Baby Boomers, GenY's poplution has exceeded that of even the baby boomers. So while the speed bike trend might have peeked for GenXers in the late 90's the GenY kids are just starting to discover them. The whole Harley cruise bike scene is mostly made up of older and wealthier Baby-Boomers who are trying to re-live their youth.

Whatever the the next trend is, it's only in its begining phases.

You don't even wanna know how many times I have confused or have seen other people confuse an LS1 Camaro with a Chrysler. LT1's are a little more difficult to confuse but it happens too. I've never seen 1st-Third Gens confused for anything really because they all had completely unique looks. As for Guions comment I know many young dudes that want to get into the musclecar scene and none of them wanna go 4th Gen no matter how fast or cheap they can get them, and you can get them pretty cheap now. Desirability here: Thirds, 1sts, 2nds, 4ths.

And so many say to me "Nice IROC"

Maybe the northeast is in the minority here, but I see more third gens on the road than fourths...they're endangered around here....

LOL, thats funny because a dude on Ebay was just trying to sell his 30th Anniversary Z28 as an IROC. I've seen that done before more than once to 4th Gens and Thirds that aren't IROC's, popularity and leaving a good impression will do it everytime.

If you've never seen Third's (that aren't IROC's) and 4ths being sold as IROC-Z's then you aren't looking. Since I am constantly looking everywhere for a specific IROC-Z I see all kinds of things.

I see plenty of 3rds, it doesn't bother me. No 4th, the only 4ths I see listed like that, the ad says

todos electrico, automatico transmission' ..un calor IROC, se habla espanol!

They don't know any better... All they've known is IROCs in the hood so they think Z28 is interchangeable with IROC.

It's just funny to me, that you see things through different eyes than everyone else.
popularity and leaving a good impression will do it everytime
If you see IROC in an ad for a 4th gen it's because the person is clueless. It's not because everyone bows down in worship to the IROC. To the contrary, the IROC isn't held it too high a regard these days, man.

I have no problem with 3rd gens BTW.. I'd love to have a 91-92 Z. But you crack me up with your 3rd gen worship.

That is your opinion. Unfortunately it's wrong. Maybe thats the typical "I'm Faster So Its Better" 4th Gen owner experience, but thats not mine or many others. I like so much that anytime any1 says something good about the Third Gen it gets attacked. I said something nice about Thirds, did I say anything lousy about 4ths there?? Maybe because in 20 years no1 will care about 4ths like they do Thirds because they were never popular or liked much to begin with. I mean almost no1 cared when they were even in production!!

I've seen 4th Z28's being sold as IROC's dude and I could care less if you haven't, 1 was just on Ebay. Not sure but I think it was a 30th. Many people try to sell regular Z28's as them also, its like people putting GTO on Pontiacs that aren't on AutoTrader or something. Its like JE said, here also 4ths are pretty rare and there's alot of nice Thirds. (there is also ALOT of nice musclecars here from way back, and fast 1's at that) This is a place where kids get brand new cars just for graduating high school, they could have 4ths if they wanted easily, but they don't.

For someone who is the self-proclaimed "Camaro Lunatic" you really do have a narrow-minded view/knowledge of Camaros.

Just an honest observation.

I obviously meant from far away or at night, even though they do look Chrylser-like in plain sight. (wheres the DOH smilie CZ28.com??) Also keep in mind that while being a "Camaro lunatic," the 4th and 2nd Gens get the least amount of my attention possible. Thats just me. If they make you happy, great. The Third Gens (obviously!!) and 1sts are what I really like, so of course I know the most about them and know just enough about the others.
