Bingo!!! We have a winner!!

 

I was not knocking the quality or anything on the Camaros built in Canada. My 99SS is awesome and like I said, I know that GM has its reasons (read $$). And no I don't think the Camaro is any less of a car because its built in Canada and it wouldn't be less of a car if it was called the Chevy coupe.
If they build a Camaro in Canada I will buy it.


But... just like the name is a something that is important to me where it is built also has an impact on my descision.

 

i hope it gets made here, but for different reasons than all of you would.

Heh, heh......if they built Camaros in Oshawa, I'd have something new to do on Friday nights!

..........park down by GM and watch all of them flying up the road from the plant to the lots where they get parked!!!

I would actually consider applying for a job there too.....damn, building my own dream car, day after day!

 

Lets be real, if it had to come from one other country on the whole North American or even South American continents, where else would you rather it come from? Canada gets my vote everytime. As many jokes as we make about them, they are really very similar to us. They are infatuated a much with "American muscle" as we are. They have been since the 60's.
