Undisguised Challenger
Kind of goofy looking if you ask me. The proportions don't seem right.
I actually think, "exterior-ly" speaking, Chevy did a much better job translating concept to (pre-) production than Dodge did.

You know, I have to say I like the profile, BUT I think that is because I liked the originals... and that is not a compliment.
I have honestly seen some original '70 models that have been resto-modded and they look strikingly similar to this car - too much like it in fact.
And that is where my heart is on this car...
It's too much like the original to suit me personally - almost a carbon copy.
So would you rather have an original vintage unit that is modded, or have the modern one that has no past?
As for the powertrain - well there's no doubt the technology will be great in the new SRT. I'm sure it will be a great performer. From the pre-orders, I'd say they are going to sell a good many in the first year or so, but I wonder what will happen to the model when all of the purists have their SRTs and the passionate ones have their base units? Will the car appeal to impulse buyers or those on the fence between a Mustang, Camaro, or other sport coupe? Are there enough interior benefits and features? Is it easy to live with on a daily basis? That's where time will tell us the whole story.
I wish it well!

Found this searching the web:
.....she's a fattie
The concept Challenger has a 116" wheel base with an overall length of 198" and weighs 4,160 and was built by Metalcrafters. It is also 2" wider than your typical LX...in order to create the tumblehome (curved)sides.
There has been no official release from Dodge with the actual dimensions to my knowledge, so those figures (concept) are speculative at best as they apply to a one off non-production vehicle.

Looks like the rear proportions changed a good bit over the concept? There appears to be a lot of rear overhang?
