That is kind of odd.

I wonder why. Some regional thing, or just slow to move dealerships personell?!

I bought a 2004 SSR back in Feb(#3488, yellow) I love it! Drives like a dream. If I was concerned with all out speed, I could have bought a Vette for the same money. But the Vette couldnt have been as much fun as the SSR...its a blast!, and the top is a work of art. The SSR is for laid back top down drivin' in the warm weather. And I look cool while I'm at it

It started in 03? Why so late with the commercials then? By the time the car carrier commercial started, it was late into 03, going into the 04 model year... I didnt see or hear of a single SSR in all of the 03 model year.

This is an issue GM has had for a long time.

GM has had this thought that big dollar niche cars like SSR, Corvette, whatever should basically "sell themselves"... at least they seem to be changing that view a bit.

I can underdtand not having a ton of TV spots exclusively for SSR or Corvette or whatever, because the volume just isn't there to justify the money, but there is no reason at all why they can't be shown in full line Chevrolet spots, like they finally did in the Car Carrier ad.

Cadillac has been sprinkiling XLR in other car ads too (the SRX ad stands out in my head, as well as other full line Cadillac ads)... glad to see them doing it too!

For the record I just saw a Red GTO at lunch at KMart while eating my Taco Bell!

An older lady got in actually.

Ive seen quite a few SSR's down here acutally, I'd say probably 10 different ones. The local dealer has moved four of them from last count (the three initial ones went fast, then they had another purple one, now they're sitting on a grayish looking one).

Ive seen two GTO's, both red. One was in Amherst (up by the lake) and then one down here in Dayton.

On a side note, are Silverado SS pickup sales rising? Ive been seeing more of them on the road.

true
SSR= 3
300's= 10
Magnums= 0
Aveo= 20+
Malibu(and Maxx)=20+
'Nox's= 10-15
GTO= Possibly 1... I caught the rear end of a very slick looking black rear end of one. I only saw it for a split second as the GF and I were having a verbal conflict.

I don't know, maybe it's a regional thing.

SSR: Anyone who lives in SoCal can tell you those things are all over the place. Even when I go to Phoenix, I see at least 1 or 2 per day without really driving around.

300: I've stopped counting how many times I've seen one. It's just 9:30, I'm in Monterey California (population around 20,000), I've been working on my computer for about 2 1/2 hours, and I've already noticed 2 driving by on Lighthouse avenue. When I do my pub rounds after work, I see at least one, and I'll see at least one driving to or from work. When I go up to San Fran or down to SoCal, forgetabout it!

Aveo: I see them plenty. Mainly as rentals, or inside the city (SF, LA, Vegas, or Phoenix).

GTO & XLR: I've seen the same one (each) a few times around here.

Malibu: There is a couple around here, and I see the occasional one in San Fran. But I see more H2s than I see Malibus, so I know that's not representative of actual sales nationwide.

Equinox: Haven't seen one outside the dealer's lot yet, but I know they're selling.

Magnums are just now (this week I think) hitting the showrooms, so consider yourself lucky if you saw one on the streets already.

I've noticed is that new vehicles don't hit the streets in all parts of the country equally in the begining.
