So a girl told me the new Mustangs have "lots of problems"

Girl at school told me her boyfriend works at Ford, and the new 'Stangs are coming back with "problems with the features."
That's all she knows.
Anybody know about this?

I haven't drove one yet, but one issue I have seen personally is a stock 2005 ~ 2006 GT has an issue with getting man handled by a stock LS1.

This was just a joke, don't turn it into a flame war

Ford sweated some serious details over the current F series trrucks when they came out, and the new Mustang and I haven't heard of any problems with them at all.

After screwing up so many intros previously, Ford's taking flawless intros extremely seriously. Without going into details, Mustang's assembly line is about as close to being worker friendly and goofproof as you can get & the components going into the car are pretty top grade (made up in costs by the cheap interior plastic.

Outside of Ford's Air-Con systems (which for some reason can't last much more than 5 or 6 years without repairs, regardless of usage), the Mustang is pretty durable & should hold up very well.

I've heard grumblings that the manuals are having a lot of work done under warranty but there is no way to know if it is from spirited shifting or not.

as someone who has had 3 so far(2 '05 GT's-his and hers and now a '06 roush)The only problem I have personally seen is a intermittent skipping problem with the CD players.really bad in the '05's and not as much with the '06.

Man I love the Roush Mustangs. If I had the dough to spend I would have to drive the Roush and the GTO back to back and then throw some darts at a board or flip a coin because they are both SO nice.

TR3650 tranny introduced in late 01 IIRC. If its the same transmission, they are probably murdering 2nd gear or having complaints about noise/vibration.
