SAE might fix the HP rating system

Looks like Mazda and Hyundai finally screwed up enough. Although I wouldn't want a +/- .02 law. Because then Ford and GM couldn't legally underrate their cars for the enthusiasts benefit.

so right now are they saying the companies are just lying or are setting up the tests. cause you could test a car in a different gear and different temperature. maybe even tire pressure to get underratings

If this new ruleing is implemented, the RX8 will have what? Maybe 155hp?

There aren't a lot of 200hp $20k vehicles out there. The Neon SRT-4 was rated at 215hp at just under $20k just last year.

And on the other hand, 400hp ain't nuthin in the luxury sedan market anymore. AMG is taking care of that!
