I think these cars can be bought for a good price. Plus remember winter is on its way. The chevy dealer i work for sold one of the brickyard cars only a few months ago.

I don't think it would be that bad. It would really depend on how much of a dork the dealer I would have to get it from would be. It would be a really old unit, so it probably wouldn't be an issue. Where are you located at jakef2003?

I know, but I still want one
There is a silver 02 conv't Z28 with the RS ground effects sitting at the Chevy dealer in jeresyvile Il. Do a search for chevy and jeresyvile IL, im sure you'll find the dealer if your interested. Um... actually im not sure if jeresyvile has the internet yet.
jakef - my advice is to keep your options open for a low-mileage pre-owned 02 as well. There are some very nice ones out there, take a look in www.traderonline.com for example or your local dealers. This is a great time to buy one since they are somewhat of a 'seasonal' car and some don't want to store their car and sell next spring. Don't be too concerned about a pre-owned car being pristine... mine (an 02 TA) was perfect when I traded it in to my dealer with 8k miles...

I won't buy a used car. This T/A has MORE than turned me away from the used car market. If I can't find a left over F Body, I guess it is Mustang or Import time.
