Considering that the S-Runner goes for $20,700....I'd guess that the 240 hp, X-Runner would go for under $25K.

Factor in about another $2-$3K, which TRD will probably charge for the supercharger and installation kit....and you've got a 300 horse, .90+G, street machine, knocking on 13s...for probably under $27,000.

A turbo I5 makes the easiest solution.

I think it'll be the "powerhouse" in it's segment. Why do you think it's underpowered for it's competition?

and the SSR...with talk like this coming from the New GM, looks like 300hp is not enough to keep things exciting..

and the SSR...
Forget that TT Trailblazer....it's just an engineering concept.

The SSR is a $42,000 boutique vehicle.

I don't see how you can compare these.

Since this is Toyota's ONLY Sport Truck offering, isn't it meant to compete with the SSR, Ford Lightning and RT-10 also, sure it's cheaper, but as I said underpowered...

HUH?

That's like saying that since the Tiburon is Hyundai's ONLY sport coupe, it is meant to compete with Corvette.

And does the SSr really compete with Lightning and SRT-10? I don't think so.
