ok ls6 whatever, but it was only a concept not an actual production vehicle

It wasn't a concept it was a limited edition job..

I've seen one on the road, I remember seeing it a couple of years ago at the Melbourne Car show, HSV where taking orders..

The HRT Maloo will be used to test market reaction while it is on display at the Sydney International Motor Show. If it's positive, aspects of the next production Maloo could bear a striking resemblance to the concept car

Fair enough..

I still remember speaking to one of the guys, and he said they where taking orders..

But oh well I can be wrong

I personally would love to see Chevrolet bring the UTEs over here. I think they would sell really well. I've got an '84 SS which I really love and have always used as both a sports car and a truck. The styling on those Holdens is pretty nice and I could see GM either doing a nice Chevy-style front end conversion to match their current line or screwing it up somehow. I'll keep my fingers crossed for a future El Camino even though it's not looking too likely.
