HOT ROD you beat me to it.
I was gonn say that I like this one the best...
If they bring it over here I'm sure it wouldn't have any problems selling. Heck it would probably be compared to the Lightning even though they are very different. What do these bad boys run in the 1/4? Are they slower than the Monaros down under? Ude/AnthonyHSV care to comment?

Don't know the times for the maloo ute. However it has the 350hp version of the gen3.

From what I gather, the business case for bringing the UTE over here was extremely easy till the tariffs came up.

There isn't anything that an El Camino would "replace". SSRs? S10s? Camaros? El Camino would be the only vehicle of it's kind in the US.

2 things...
1. its built of a Car body could it get through a loop hole?
2. US & Australia are working on a free trade agreement so that 25% Tariff will be mute issue..
(if the agreement goes ahead)

2. I think that would open the US market to alot of excellent vehicles (ie: the 5.4 DOHC Boss Falcon UTE!).

I like that MUCH better than the other pictures of Utes I've seen. It's the only one that appears to have the cab-to-bed transition as smooth as I would like. What model is that?

Sorry to burst your bubble but...
It was a special editon HRT styled Maloo and came with a LS6...
They also had a boat that had a LS1 engine you could get in the same package. (I think from memory the boat trailer was styled only the lines of the HRT Ute..
