Man, look at all the knee jerk reactions.
FWIW, compare the Ion redline WITH suicide doors to the Cobalt SS WITHOUT suicide doors. Their performance numbers are identical. There's no huge weight penalty for the suicide door.
Personally, I love the suicide doors. We've got them on our Ion Redline and they not only make your front doors shorter and easier to open in a parking lot, but they also make the back seat much more accessible. I'm all for them, but Not on the Camaro. I think they'd be great on a GTO though.

It is the vomit-inducing hideousness of even the postulation that a G*DD*MN*D CAMARO gets 4 doors of any type.

Neither should have 4-doors.
A 4-door GTO is a LeMans or a GrandPrix.
A 4-door Camaro has never existed, and I'll kill any man that suggests it should have 4-doors.
