That's how I read it as well. Strange that the "concept" would be shown with the turbo 6 then, isn't it?

WOW , it looks sweet as a buick . Who cares really if all it has is the LNF , it doesnt take much at all to make well over 300 hp with that engine .

I would hope the manual trans and recaros make it to the showroom and are not just placed on the showcar to garner more attention .

Now we just need it to go from "concept" to reality...

I'd buy one.

And the AWD with limited slip.
And the Brembos.
And those wheels (powdercoated gunmetal!!!!)

And in black.

And yes, that is the LNF, which means 325hp/340tq is just a software flash away. The 2.8L is also a little on the thirsty side, so the LNF might be the more fuel efficient choice, and has better part distribution here in NA.

Anyone want to start guessing on pricing???

And people are going to be drooling all over the place. Over a Buick.

To me the car screams "Lexus" on the outside. On the inside... dang those seatbacks look a lot like the ones on Camaro.

Looks to me that the inner fender simply extends further toward the lip than the matching piece on the lower body panel. That can easily be corrected and won't be noticeable to most anyway.

That car is GORGEOUS! Unbelievable, I would drive a Buick.

I wonder what the gas mileage will be and price.

Also, does anyone know if it will come with a fun automatic tranny like maybe the tapshift 6-speed from the Camaro/Corvette? I really prefer a auto in a daily driver and this looks like it could be towards the top of the list.

At least the wheels arent nasty chrome . Kudo's to what looks like a very high luster silver , it just looks so much better .

Coming from the Cobalt SS world ....the lnf's mileage actually is improved or at the very least not affected from stock typically with the good tunes and the big power jump . But were talkin a 2900 lb. chassis and power being pushed thru thru front wheels . I guess the higher weight and AWD is gonna skew that alot . Its a pretty phenomenal little engine though and its nice to see it being used elsewhere finally .

As long as they can keep the price in the $30K's , they wont have any problem getting younger folks to buy this car . A few years ago I would have said your were delusional at the thought of good looking(in and out) 4 door buick with a turbo 4banger , AWD , 6-speed manual trans , brembos and recaros . Its still a bit unreal .

You know, looking at this Buick, this is what Acura should have been. The rear end is very reminiscent of TL.

I really like the direction in which Buick is heading. In fact, it appears that GM will have 2 luxury divisions: Buick to fight Japanese automakers, and Cadillac to fight German automakers.

And yes, I too am interested in Buick! Can't wait for CIAS this February.

I guess I'm the only one, but I'm underwhelmed by the exterior. It doesn't seem to have any of the aggressiveness that I remember in the Opel. I'm not saying it has to be all boy-racerish and cartoony, but at least have something to show off its sporting intentions. It looks rental car bland in that pic.

To me it looks like the high end silver powdercoats that are intended to mimmick a polished look . Alot higher end rims use a coating like this . The one off rims on the red LS7 sema 5th gen that looked polished had a coating like this .
