Not sure if this is just a magazine concept or what, it's a tad fuzzy, but I have not seen this before...

Old news. It was MT saying they got the scoop on the all new 08 GTO on the Zeta platform. That has all changed for now.

FWIW: It is close though.

 

Even if the next GTO didn't go on Zeta, we could assume the styling would remain relatively the same though, right?

So, this image was done by MT artists? .... but you feel it is a worthy representation?

 

FWIW, I love this styling... you can tell it's a GTO by just looking at it, but it's not all-out retro.

I hope this is as far a "retro" as they style the next Camaro...

I agree with you. The styling is unmistakingly GTO, but the whole package is throughly modern. Agressive, bold, and good looking. I like the chisled lines. I think those lines fit the GTO better than the current curvy lines which off come as too soft/import'ish.

This is what the 04 GTO should have looked like to begin with. There wouldn't have been a backlash at all.

Well, I cleared my cache last time to be sure that wasn't it, but I just tried again, and it is not coming up...

Waybe the bandwidth for the site was exceeded, or they yanked the pic...

 

It worked for me earlier, and it still works for me. And this is on two different computers.

 

FWIW, I saved the picture, and have asked a friend to put it up on his domain for me... when he replies, I'll post a link....
