I don't. Cops around here drive them dressed in street clothes and pull unsuspecting people over. I've never been pulled over by one of them though. Just the other day I saw another car pulled over by an unmarked Lincoln Mk VIII. This must stop. Next thing you know, you're being pulled over by a VW Beetle....

Sorry I got off topic...

Interesting artwork Kris. Not my cup of tea stylewise, but I do recognize you have alot of talent, and respect that.

To clear up the rumor about the Dodge Charger, it is in fact going to be in production by the end of next calender year. It is scheduled to be phased in on the LX assembly line next year, and is part of the reason why Dodge has the Magnum station wagon. Daimler Chrysler is taking their time revving up the assembly line to ensure nothing goes wrong. The LX is the most important car Chrysler has introduced in years, and almost literally, the Chrysler arm's future is dependent on as close to a perfect & troublefree launch as possible. That's why AWD isn't available till later on this year.

The Charger won't be what people are expecting. It will in fact be a sedan. The interior is supposed to be a carryover from the Magnum, but with different bodywork.

At present, it seems a coupe will be added the following year to the assembly line.

BTW, Seems NASCAR is also aware that Dodge is bringing out a new car for 2005:

More on the Dodge 2005 Model: John Fernandez, Dodge's vice president of motorsports, says DaimlerChrysler will run the Intrepid in the Cup division next year, but look for a new model, matching the company's production schedule, for 2005. “There are a few new templates coming,” Fernandez says. “But because of the common templates, there won't be a huge difference.” Fernandez says NASCAR's greatest concerns are maintaining the safety standards of the car and the equality among the four car makes. With 18 of the 32 templates being common, the nose, the tail and the side windows are the areas in which cars can retain identity.(Sporting News)(8-25-2003)

Bye-Bye Intrepid? Hello Charger? Daytona?: The Winston Cup Scene is reporting that the Dodge Intrpid will stop being made in 2004. While not announced, Dodge is expected to cease production of the Intrepid by the end of 2004. Dodge is supposedly looking at bring the Dodge Charger or Dodge Daytona back in 2005. Wintson Cup director John Darby said NASCAR has been informed by Dodge that the Intrepid would be replaced. The submission for a new car will be July 1, 2004 but the car doesn't hvae to be completed by then. The Intrpid has won 15 Cup races since making it debut in 2001.(Winston Cup Scene - need sub to read online)(8-14-2003)

guionM,
Thanks, it was tough to try and get a look that everyone would like, just as with the Camaro, not everyone was going to like it.

There are some pics of the progress of the car and some studio-style renderings online now if you want to check them out.

Just follow the link and go to the bottom of the page.
