It will definately affect us . We get parts from delphi and send finished goods to them as well . Not a very comfortable time for US suppliers to the automotive industry right now .

Ok, now that the cz28.com cage match has come and gone...

Guy and RP, I like what you guys have to say regarding my beloved Pontiac. I pray for good things...

Hardly a cage match Jason. Consider it more a gentleman's disagreement...that's all.

And considering BL's public comments, it's a safe bet something will be coming for Pontiac.

We'll know more soon......

Hmm...maybe I would make a lousy Vehicle Line Manager or product finance allocator, but it would seem to me that if you have 2 cars on the same platform, one of which is supposed to sell, say 100,000 units and the other maybe 20,000, the bulk of my yearly budget should probably be directed to the car that is keeping the whole line afloat....

If GM gives the percentage of money to GTO that it did to Firebird, if also on the same platform as the next Camaro, that's one hard lesson that GM inexplicably didn't learn. You once again have a higher volume car being starved for the good of the car that isn't supposed to sell as well anyway. Sounds like the recipe for two flops again.

You sound like a pretty smart manager to me, Wilson. Anything could happen, especially in light of BL's recent comments....but I think/hope the people working the program have this figured out as well.

The question is, will GM want to pay for a larger than Camaro coupe, in order to sell 15,000-20,000 GTO's per year? We'll see.....
