KillerTA, i would think high 13's?? The mazda6 isn't that heavy (2900-3,070lbs), and even with the added weight of the AWD system, i think it'll still come in under 3300lbs. Given the hp, tq, and AWD, i think it should be capable of high 13's at least. EVO which isn't that much lighter runs low to mid 13's with close to the same hp rating.

An AWD Mazda 6 is gonna be 3500+ lbs IMO.

Quite possibly unless special lightwieght parts are used (which i doubt).
Searched carpoint, and it looks like the weight varies from trim to trim. The 4cyl base with a manual weighs in at 3,045lbs, and the S with the v6 weighs in at the 3,241lbs you mentioned.

wonder how much the AWD gear and turbo parts are going to add in weight? If we had any precedent in mazdas history to compare this to (an awd midsize with a turbo powerplant) itd be easier to make an educated guess...



. That's good news. And by weaker, do you mean that the SVT version will have more??
