I don't know, I think with a little work on the body for some better Cd numbers it could look pretty agressive.

Ohhhh very close!

That was the grille only thinner. The outer hood creases are right on. The hood was not that wide, It was a 1st gen hood without the heat exchanger looking things. If you morphed this car with the SS Concept you'd get damn near the car I saw.

That's the type of hood, without the cowl, but with creases along those cowl lines. It was inset from the fenders like that. The front fenders were different more like a 1st gen only slightly flared out. The grill has the same shape but the previous concept was much closer. The remainder of the car was different, it was the SS concept as a coupe.

Guys, danno02SS is saying about the grille, (thin grille) does anyone remembers that car, (Hot Wheels) Muscle Tone, anyone has a pic of it? so he can see it....(front of the car)

There's a lot of 'al a first gens' here. Refresh my memory if I'm mistaken, but hasn't it been said by a few people that the 5th Gen Camaro will NOT be retro? I thought they were going for 'evolution' rather....

The 5th gen will NOT be retro. GM isn't heading in that direction, as shown in the GTO. I'm glad their moving forward instead of back.

The concept's profile was nothing like that. I can't tell what the grill looks like on the Muscle Tone, there might be some agreement. The grill on the concept I saw was the only thing on the car that can be called overtly RETRO, even that looked like an evolved 1st gen RS grill. There were subtle hints at 1st gen design cues, placement of hood creases, inset hood, fog lights near center of front fascia, but nothing as obvious as the grill. Everything else was clean, smooth, and well proportioned. The car had lines that looked like they belonged on a 100K+ Italian job (very clean, very mean looking). It made the Mustang GT next to it look like the dated, bloated, aerodynamic brick it is. It made the Accord Coupe look like an even bigger yawner. Like I said I only had issues with the grill.

That would do wonders for the Camaro's 'red neck' image
