It looks like GM is scrambling because of PHR's story
Re: It looks like GM is scrambling because of PHR's story
I think that if they dont name it Camaro, it will make the GTO problems seem like a fairy tale. If they name it Chevelle, it will be 2 fold.
You will have the Chevelle guys yelling "you ruined the Chevelle like you runied the GTO" and you will get the Camaro guys(us) saying "should have called it Camaro!!"

If they dont call it Camaro they should come up with a new name for the car. This retro naming thing is just soooooooooooooo stupid. The people who were around to remember these cars are shoping for mobilized wheel chairs not muscle cars!

Take a joke............ Wow, dont get your panties in bunch. The name isnt that important. Didnt the 4 th gen not sell and it was called Camaro. I bet you it will sell the same or better if it was named something else.

So, what you are saying is that if GM cant call it Camaro dont bring to market an affordable RWD V8 2+2? Thats just stupid.

Besides, if names don't matter....why would I care if it's a Chevy or a Hyundai.

Oh my, dare we start this up again. All I will say is, whay would you want a car that has already been made? Just buy the original, you can't remake a classic.
Also, add me to the list of people who will not buy the Chevy "coupe" if it is not called Camaro!
