Nobody that would buy the ZR1 cares who they get to play a little song in front of it at some event.

The first time I remember reading about one of his projects it was a ford festiva with a Tarus SHO engine + N2O stuffed in the back. This was when a 14sec 1/4 was fast. heh.

Re: the CF thread... well, not so much bashing as whining. Seems there is a big resistance to FI in corvetteland, and everyone seems to think they can do it better for less $$.

I guess I've voiced my reservations re: its weight and the hood, but after seeing it in silver and seeing it running around a track... damn. This is going to be a badass car. I'll have to paint my brake calipers to match the silver, but I guess I can get over it.

I would agree that guys buying a ZR1 could care less who sang at the event, and especially, what some peoples opinions are about it. I've been around cars and guys with money who like cars long enough to know that plenty of those buying the ZR1 are just about as cheezy as it gets. They don't call them the 'gold chain' crowd for nothing. These particular guys wish they were Kid Rock.
