Just drove the Solstice and some other cool stuff

I just went to the Autoshow in motion today drove some cool stuff.

Solstice: Fun car in the twisties, nice looking, nice interior. The top looks kind of funky. Not enough power this car needs a turbo. They also had a Sky not available for test drives, but one hot looking car.

HHR: fun car to drive with a nice interior and some nice cargo features.

Impala SS: nice interior especially the black with wood. It has the V8 rumble great acceleration but the GXP is the race car of the two.

SSR manual/auto: manual is the way to go. Fun in every aspect sound, drive ect. just charge $25000 and they have a winner.

DTS: with out the sport suspension it's like driving your couch around the track (a nice couch). Nice interior and attention to detail.

Lucerne: Best looking Buick since the Grand National, sharp inside and out. Wasn't available to drive.

Trailblazer SS: not available to drive looks good in/out. This car had the coolest thing I saw all day a aluminum GM Performance Division badge on the engine cover!!

H3: awsome interior. One of the best probably better than anything I've seen from GM. VW/Audi like quality. Feels like a Colorado pick up.

I also drove the Vette, CTS-V, STS, GTO, all the Saabs, ect.

Ok,
where is this going on, and is it going on this weekend?
Can anyone go, or do you need an invitation?

Also, did you guys drive a saab w/ the 250hp 2.8 turbo V6? 6spd Auto or manual?

How'd it feel, etc? Also curious how those saab 9-3's handle.

Arlington Heights Park. Autoshow in motion. There is a web site where you preregister.

No turbo V6 Saab. Drove the turbo eco-tech 9-3 Aero. Drives nice. The 9-5 Aero is a blast. Unfortunately they were both autos.

TB SS was pretty cool. It seems quite abit lower than than a stock TB.....almost giving you the feeling that it's a car rather than a truck. I wish I could have driven it. The front seats have suede inserts like the GP GXP and CTSv. The dashboard was the standard horrid Trailblazer piece, (not much that you can do about that), but overall, it seemed like a very nicely done package.

The CTSV is real nice eeehhh!!!!! if anyone wants a $13K reduced 2005 CTSV black demo (I believe that comes to approx $47K), there's one at PFLueger dealership in Honolulu. The demo had a few hundred miles on it, driven only by the PFLueger dealership general manager. They'll ship where ever. I saw that at a friend's work while holidaying last week.

i believe this is them

California will not allow vehicles with less than 7500miles to be imported so I let it go.
