JD Power ratings: 2005 Nissan Armada is OWNED by the 2005 Tahoe
I compared the almighty 2005 Nissan Armada with the lowly 2005 Chevy Tahoe and the 2005 Ford Expedition... here are the results according to JD Power:
Each catagory has a highest possible score of 5.
Mechanical Quality:
Armada - 2 of 5.
Tahoe - 4 of 5.
Exped - 4 of 5.
Feature and Accessory Quality:
Armada - 4 of 5.
Tahoe - 5 of 5.
Exped - 5 of 5.
Body and Interior Quality:
Armada - 2 of 5.
Tahoe - 4 of 5.
Exped - 3 of 5.
Overall Quality:
Armada - 2 of 5.
Tahoe - 5 of 5.
Exped - 4 of 5.
Looks like Tahoe wins on every angle... and, Aramda scores rather pathetically in 3 out of 4 catagories.

4 out of five on on interior quality and 5 out of 5 on overall quality! and these are the GMT800s the 900s are right around the corner.

On top of that Nissan is guzzling more gas in this era of high fuel prices. 13/18 for the Armada vs. 16/20 for the Tahoe (both 4x4 versions)

Nissan should have never bothered with their half-*** attempt to produce a pathetic ancient gas-guzzling engine in this modern era of efficiency.
Pretty soon the novelty will wear off, and people will see what a money-grabbing greedy attempt this is on the part of Nissan. They have nothing to offer than any and every other manufacturer does not offer and has not been for the last 5 - 8 years. A bit late, if you ask me.
Well, on the other hand, you will always find those brainwashed and braindead people whose loyalty to Nissan blinds their rationale. It's for people like that that Nissan makes the Armada and still exists.

The thing that people forget about the GMT800's is that while they are old, they are also very good. When these came out, they absolutely destroyed the competition. Remember those first comparisons? It wasn't even close. I think they're good enough so that even now, there's only one category in which these trucks have really been surpassed by the competition - interiors. In most other respects, the GMT800's are not nearly as behind as one would expect when comparing a 6 year old design to brand new ones.

Did you all know that the Tahoe was designed and concept built at Janesville Wisconsin plant and NEVER by GM! The 1st 400 series Tahoe was hand built at Janesville. How do I know? I HELPED
Just wait for the 900's to come out.......I still can't tell you guys anything about it, I would loose my job.
