Angry Its been a long time since we got any real 5th gen news..

It's been a really long time since we heard anything concrete, or even a good rumor...

It sucks.

Thats all I had to say.

What foolish questions. It's a stretched limo.

Yeah, a stretched limo with a jacuzzi in the back. That's where Bob Lutz and Rick Wagoner sit wearing spandex bathing suits, sipping on champaigne, watching the hopes of Camaro fans everywhere dissappear in a cloud of steam and GM's hot air.

Just imagine--it's 1975 (or when ever the 2 door muscle cars left Dodge)

Guys are sittin' around a barbaque (remember no 'Net back then) lamenting the loss of their 440's,
Hemis, 340 and all the great Dodge muscle.

They hope Dodge brings them back--they speculate
and read the news looking for rumours.

They waited....waited and lo and behold--17 years later the Viper comes out, RWD, V10 awesome---
BUT pricey$$$ It would take 13 more years beofre some mainstream Dodge cars went back to RWD--but still--no affordable 2 door coupes with V8s.

Sounds alot like our delima, no? It hasn't even been 1 year and were going nuts. My thought is GM just doens't care on bit--if they did they would have had an F5 all ready to go for 03.

Well I guess GM is developing some exciting RWD cars by 2006-07 so the wait might not be forever
but I sure hope they don't cost an arm and a leg.

We were told by a few people "in the know" that there will be a long dead period regarding anything Camaro. This certainly shouldn't be surprising.

At least we won't have to wait 17 years.
