I was chatting with my close Chevy friend when the SS concept came out.I recall tellign him the purportions of the SS screamed Vette. But I also agreed with him having hints of the Camaro in it as well as a 70 Chevelle and 71 Camaro.I think chevy should have made this
the badging instead of the SS nameplate.

You guys....
Maybe this'll whet your appetite.
Like this?
How about this?
Now, don't spread this around, but there's two turbochargers under there.
I took the photos myself a couple of weeks ago when no one was looking. >shhhh!<
Enjoy,

Yer' pretty much on-track. That's a twin-turbo LT4 under that glass. Still, a mid-engine, twin turbocharged Corvette is an intriguing concept, is it not? This particular concept car is valued at $1.6M by the General. I don't think it was displayed in very many shows. It was a development & test mule, I think. You can see it at the R.E. Olds transportation museum in Lansing, Michigan.
BTW, Nice website you got going there, Kizz. If it's any help, I found the remains of my build sheet in two places: A small chunk was staked under the passenger seat mounting stud, and the remaining chunk was stuffed up INSIDE the mounting foam of the front driver's seat. I really had to reach for it and it came out in about four pieces. I've decided not to keep my car original, and a roll bar is getting installed in a few weeks.

Ok first thing. GM has enough money to have the designers that designed the Aztek killed and their bodies disposed of. These morons are obviously responsible for that beast. They want to call that a Chevelle??? Is someone on crack?
secondly, the first two pics in this link show what is clearly a GM version of the Mazda RX8. Hasn't anyone seen that hideous pig?
Lastly, GM NEEDS to wake the hell up before they ruin their company completely. WHY can't anyone there design a decent looking car? It must be something to do with the computers they use, they probably have a virus!!
disgusting
