PLEASE SHOW ME WHERE I SAID THAT THE CAMARO "SHOULD HAVE 4 DOORS!"

Did you all fail Comprehension 101? I will greatly pay for everyone to re-take the class AGAIN.

NOBODY SAID THE CAMARO SHOULD HAVE 4 DOORS! Now, READ CAREFULLY BELOW, OKAY?

I SAID "WHO CARES IF THE CAMARO HAS 4 DOORS AS LONG AS YOU DON'T SEE THE OTHER 2 DOORHANDLES?"

I ALSO SAID "IT WOULDN'T HURT IF THEY USED THE 1/2 DOORS LIKE THE SATURNS TO MAKE THE CARS MORE USEABLE."

AFTER I SAID THAT, I ALSO SAID "I WOULD PREFER IT THE CAMARO WAS A 2-DOOR ALSO."

SEE THOSE MAGIC WORDS, "WOULD PREFER?" DO YOU SEE THEM, NIMRODS?

JESUS F*CKING CHRIST! ARE YOU PEOPLE REALLY AS STUPID AS YOU ACT OR DO YOU WANT PEOPLE JUST TO THINK YOU'RE STUPID?!

Ok, now, I understand that the majority of the people in here are 21 year old little big-mouthed stoners and really can't comprehend, so I really try to be patient. I really do. I guess this is what happens when you visit a messageboard where the average age of the members is 3.
Ok I admit that it was poor wording again but it was in haste ,didn't mean should. The fact that you brought up the "wouldn't mind a 4door Camaro" on a Camaro board and at the same time trying to say that you "prefer a 2door" is a little off,it's stupid in itself. Who's acting like a 3 year old now, throwing a temper tantrum on a public board. You should reread what you just typed because You just put yourself in your own catergory.

Guess Not. For someone as mature as yourself, you sure do throw quite the temper tantrum. You put my 8 year old cousin to shame. Perhaps he should take some temper tantrum lessons from you, then maybe his parents would buy him that dual suspension mountain bikes he wants.

Oh, and insulting my intelligence over the internet. HAHAHA! Whatever you say.

Oh, and the issue concerning the 4 doors, a position of neutrality on an issue that so many people are against, will surely make you a target for arguments against a 4-door Camaro. Some of GM's upper-level management personnel actually do read these message boards, and we surely don't want to give them any ideas.

damn dude your gonna have a heart attack calm down
killer. I to wouldnt like four doors it throws off the whole sleek
look. I dont understand what people see in the look of a mustang
to me it looks like abox on wheels. For me I bought my camaro
because of its looks(sleekness and flowing curves) perfomance
and price. The #1 most issue I see with camaros is the space for passangers, if a 5 gen does get built I hope for a little more room
without compromising its great looks.

I can't believe there is this much talk about such an ugly car. Damn that thing is nasty! The front end looks cheap! I hate Chevy's front grills.

It's not a Camaro. 4 doors or not. It has Camaro lines as has been stated by another member here, and may have some themes that may be testing the waters, but the whole package is not Camaro.

Time to time, a maker may throw out a design it may be planning to produce, but also they put out ideas to get feedback on a design direction they may be interested in going on in a different car (ie: The California Camaro of the late 80s that served up ideas that were incorperated into the F4)

First off, how would you know if I was throwing a temper tantrum? Do you know if I was spinning around in my chair kicking and screaming? Nope. I don't throw tantrums over stupid things like the internet. I'm simply a bit frustrated that nobody seems to be able to comprehend exactly what I'm saying.

Then, you say that I'm neutral on how many doors the Camaro has if it ever pops back out. You're incorrect. I would DEFINITELY vote for a coupe over a 4-door. However, what I was saying was it wouldn't hurt my feelings if GM brought it out with a half-door like the Saturns to make the car more useful. Isn't packaging what killed the Camaro in the first place? Maybe more people would buy them if they were easier to "navigate" around in? Hey, I just want our beloved Fbody back, and I'll take it any way I can get it as long as it has a 6 speed, rwd, independent rear suspension, a powerful V8, and does 0-60 in under 5.3 I'll be happy.

And sure, of course GM reads this board. They gave so much of a sh*t they cancelled the Fbody anyway, and NEVER made any significant improvements to the Fbodies. It shows just how much they value your opinion, and everyone else's on this website. 75% of the people on this site that said they'd buy a new Camaro probably couldn't afford one anyway, so what's it matter?

Hell, I've already got my mind made up. I'm getting a 2005 Mustang hard-top when they come out. GM's f*cked themselves, because everyone else that would have bought a new Camaro will be buying one too. I guess I'm sh*t-outta-luck, ain't I, guys? I guess I'm gonna be stuck with a Ford because there's nothing else out there!

And don't even bring up that sorry excuse of a Pontiac GTO. It's hardly affordable for the majority of the people they're trying to market towards, and who in their right mind would spend 35 large on a 3600lb pig that does 0-60 in 6.7 seconds? That's HARDLY a muscle car. I guess I'll have to bring out my VW GTI to race that tough customer, otherwise it would hardly be worth racing.

Hell, I'm not brand loyal. My sig proves that. I'm going to whoever has what I want. F*ck GM. We don't need them. They need us.

Paragraph 1: I don't care.
Paragraph 2: The Mustang killed the F-body more than anything. It was outselling the Camaro and Firebird combined by almost 3 to 1.
Paragraph 3: A few GM executives read this board, and sometimes even post here. If you frequented this board more often, you would know that.
Paragraph 4: I was actually considdering a Mustang in the future as well.
Paragraph 5: I COMPLETELY agree.
Paragraph 6: I'm not nearly as much of a GM guy as I was before.

The M*****g didn't do anything. Guion and others have said that the F-Body was STILL profitable even when sales got low.

Sure ya do. If ya didn't, ya wouldn't have posted.

Wrong AGAIN. GM killed the Camaro and Firebird. They sticked to the basics which dated back to 1967, and the car never evolved like the Mustang did. The same things that make a muscle car great are the same things that killed it. The Mustang became more "user friendly," while the Fbody stuck to the "all show and all go, but nothing else."

Paragraph 3: A few GM executives read this board, and sometimes even post here. If you frequented this board more often, you would know that.
How many posts do I have? How many do YOU have?

Paragraph 4: I was actually considdering a Mustang in the future as well.
I can't say I blame ya. What else is there to buy in the terms of AFFORDABLE rwd muscle? The GTO is more expensive than a nicely equipped WS6, and a lot of people here can't afford one of them. How do they expect to sell a GTO to the same bunch of people? As we all know, the Corvette is waaaaaay out of reach for many of us as well. I guess we're stuck with the Ford; But that's fine, because the GT is SUPPOSED TO have close to 400hp, while the Cobra taps 450hp.

Paragraph 5: I COMPLETELY agree.
Who doesn't? It's an "old man's muscle car." Nobody our age would pimp a new GTO like it's actually cool looking. It's not. It looks like it's marketed towards your daddy's GTO battling my daddy's Mercury Marauder.

Paragraph 6: I'm not nearly as much of a GM guy as I was before.
Neither am I, my friend. Neither am I..... IF GM didn't make the decision to kill the Fbody, I would have bought a 2002 Z28. Since they did cancel it, I was in my "f*ck GM" mindset. By the way, I still am.

Damn this stuff is entertaining!

I don't want to get yelled at (and this is obviously just my opinion) but I don't believe sports cars should have more than 2 doors- under any circumstances. I never have liked 4-door anythings.

It's funny, one of the many of the criticisms of the Camaro was that it didn't seat rear passengers very well. Raise your hands if you considered rear passenger comfort when you bought your Camaro. Who thinks an f-body is even close to being practical on any level? The long doors suck, you can't see where the front of the car ends, you can't carry cargo or more than 1 passenger, you have to be a contortionist to hop in and out, it's horrible in the snow, it's a pretty big car (for a sports car) but smallish inside, the engine compartment is a bitch...

Damn I love this car!

GM wants a broader range of appeal for it's sports cars. It makes better dollars and sense (an off-the-shelf car). But do you really want to drive a car that appeals to every other slob? Anybody that bought a 4th gen f-body has proven that their taste is different. We are a minority group. We all give Ford credit for having so much success with the Mustang (and most of them are V6s) but I for one see way too many Mustangs. Boring!

I think the next Camaro (like all Camaros) has to be fairly impractical (and fairly expensive)- rear wheel drive, 2-doors, a small interior, low slung, gas guzzling (V8)- but very good looking.

How else do I get to drive that unique cool American muscle car that the 'Joe Practicals' won't drive? But don't hold your breath.
