Holden SSX concept

http://www.cardesignnews.com/news/20...021holden-ssx/

Not sure what platform this is worked on, but with the G6 AWD sedan being debuted here and the SSX there, it seems like they're testing the waters on the styling IMO, I'll take this one if the big guys are listening
If i remember right the G6 called for a SC V6, dont see why that couldnt fit under that hood as a base model with a V8 goin in up top, we still dont have a RWD/AWD home for the olds 4L V8 to my knowledge.

The 4.0 Olds is dead to my knowledge and instead, the 4.4L version will be in the new Bonneville GXP.

the 4L olds is doing great in IRL, if i remember right they have to offer it in a street car but i suppose that 4.4L version could apply, theres nothing pointing to it that i've read, just putting it out there.

Edit: Found Holdens official page on it. http://www.holden.com.au/www-holden/...?modelid=20005

Looking at it from the rear quarter panel I see more "Impala" than "Chevelle".

Hey If your interested in the SSX, then checkout my site (see signature) I've got the press release with the specs as well as a whole gallery of pics (about 20 i think), just look under Holden Concepts --> SSX onthe left hand side. While you're there check out my CX8 Online Concept which I created using the SSX as the starting point. I've also done amock up of what a convertible SSX would look like.
