I'm definitely going to be watching the police auctions in the next few years for a used one.
Are you gonna do a full Holden conversion when you get one

Re: How is the sales of the PPV?

Saw a silver caprice at a local advance auto parts a few weeks ago. Walked out thought it looked nice and did a triple take. Walking around it it had Caprice on the trunk and "ss" badges on it. I looked real hard for any light bars or anything to indicate police use but couldnt find anything. I walked all around the car and was going to take pictures but the lady in the passanger seat waiting with the car running looked really nervous about me walking around the car so much. Was a very old couple that driving it.
The ss badges could have been added I guess but they were a nice touch. In general when the cool factor shock wore off, my opinion was the rear end looked really bland and really mid 2000's gm looking.

When I first saw the black 9C3 I spotted it was from the rear and at first I thought it was an Impala. I did a double take and noticed the badge said "CAPRICE". Personally I like the sleeper look, but I still think its modern looking, just not over the top like a lot of the newer sedans on the market.

Re: How is the sales of the PPV?

As of July GM has only delivered 1,680 Caprice PPVs this year. That has got to be really disappointing for GM. Apparently the 300hp Impala 9C1 is the second best selling police car right now, right behind the Charger Pursuit.

The local county seems to have started buying Chargers for the Sheriff's department. I don't think I have seen any PPV's on the road at all.
