Should be a market for it. Nothing else in the smaller SUT class (Explorer Sport Trac, new Nissan, Toyota Tacoma) is based on a unibody car chassis. Should make for a big difference in terms of ride and handling, which I think the small bed/large cab SUT market is looking for.
Big question is will there be a midgate option.
