Oldsmobile OSV, What Could Have Been.......
2000 Oldsmobile Intrigue OSV V8
Intrigue OSV V8 engine bay
Intrigue OSV V8
2002 Intrigue OSV V8
Alero OSV 3.5 DOHC V6
Alero OSV 3.5 DOHC V6 2
Alero OSV 3
Alero OSV 4
Alero Convertible
That 2-door Alero OSV with the Intrigue's 3.5 DOHC V6 would have been a hot ride IMO.

Re: Oldsmobile OSV, What Could Have Been.......
I saw the 2000 OSV Intrigue at the Philadelphia car show. The exhaust looked to be a bit cobbled together under the car but it was otherwise awesome.
My wife would have ordered one for herself that very day if they were available.

Re: Oldsmobile OSV, What Could Have Been.......
I come from an Olds family. My earliest memories...I must have been 3...are of my dad's '55 Olds 88. My first car was one of my father's hand me downs, a '70 Delta 88 coupe.
My 9 year old son was with me (as usual ), at a local cruise recently. Whether we're checking out a beautifully restored black '57 J2, or spending 45 minutes talking to a guy who just bought an all original, rust free and straight, northern California, '67 442 4 speed.....he knows that I have a special interest in Oldsmobiles.
He was shocked when I told him that they don't make Oldsmobiles anymore, and asked....Why not?".
Thinking carefully, so I could condense it all into one or two sentences, I said......"They didn't know how to sell them. They were ashamed to call them Oldsmobiles...when they should have been proud."

Re: Oldsmobile OSV, What Could Have Been.......
There was this one Oldsmobile prototype from the late 90's (I think) that I believe was based off of the F-body chassis or at least it looks like it was. My friend has a poster of it but I forget what its called, if anyone can help me out here with the name that would be great...It was a very sporty looking car, very low slung and aggressive looking. I always wondered why they never went through with the project.
This might be it, it looks like its based off of the California Camaro concept....
