But some of us want to get something new, and not just love GM because our third gen is great.

As for buying another brand? Done. Didn't buy a GM car. Leave the board? Why, because a few of you are idiots? This board is one of the best automotive boards on the net, has info about upcoming cars from all brands from real enthusiasts who appreciate any cars. A couple of bad seeds aren't going to scare me off, no matter how annoying they choose to be.

If you come to the "5th Gen and Future Vehicle Discussion" and post about the 5th Gen, I wouldn’t think that it would be about how the 5th gen isn’t here and how nothing has been announced and how your'e tired of waiting. That has already been established. I personally don’t care what everyone wants to buy if the camaro isn’t here, or how they are tired of waiting for something that they have known for years isn’t going to be out for a while, at least. I didnt come here because it was the "But Ford has the mustang, how come Chevrolet doesn't have a Camaro?" page. To me, that is annoying. But hey, you can have your own views of what is annoying, I guess.

As for the comment about Al and I being idiots, I don’t think that was very mature. No one verbally assaulted you, so why would you do something like that? Al was simply frustrated by hearing about people wanting a mustang, but continuing to post old information about the camaro not being here and complaining about it tirelessly. That doesn’t make him an idiot. I think you owe us an apology.

Since I may not come back here for a few days I will accept your apology now. I don’t know about Al though. He might be a little bit more offended then I am, but I think you should at least offer the apology.

And which one of those is my inexpensive rear-wheel drive sportscar? I think that's what they're missing with not having a Camaro. As for jumping ship and buying a Mustang, not me, but if Chrysler comes out with a Hemi Cuda (or whatever they might call it) before a 5th gen...

The point I was making Sweet is that GM is going after the bigger markets such as the booming Sport Compact market, the luxury sports sedan market, the always popular "boys dream" 2dr sports car market, as well as the sporty daily driver.
I hate the way people think that GM is leaving enthuisats in the dust with these cars available on the market.

Also, how could I forget the GTO, that will be coming in with 400hp for probably the same price as last years model. Can you name another car with 400hp and less then 40k?

Ok Lets start the Flame war here.

FOR G OD Stake people, nock it off.

We all know who said have "faith" & If you cant believe or trust in him then go away.

Gm has been known say things about new style cars for up to 18 months before production. So March of 2006 or even March 2007 at the earliest we might hear something. Thats a year & 5 months away people.

Hold your horses tight or they are going to run away from you.

Re: Has GM even confirmed that there will be a new camaro?

sorry i guess there aren't any new 04 cobras left. Oh there aren't any 05 gto's out anyway. And if a lot of the ls2 vettes are running 13.0's i guess the 400hp GTO is still only going to be a mid 13 sec car
