GM Proving Grounds - New Firebird spotted, going fast

So I'm not the only one who thinks it's funny how some people go overboard reading into harmless or routine things?

Definitely not. "The F-body is dead" "You mean there will never be another 2+2 Rear wheel drive V-8?" "No, I simply said the f-platform is dead. It will be called Zeta or Beta or whatever, just not F"
I love threads like that. LOL.

Zeta is just a set of components and architecture. How it's configured is the body designation.
Regardless as to it's name, you'll most likely see an "F-body" again.

I totally read the topic and then the opening message wrong. When you said going fast I thought the pics of the possible firebird are not going to be posted long...
Workin on the Explorer's shift motor tonight in the -30 temps got my mind numb.

I was hoping folks would read that I saw a Firebird car at the proving grounds driving fast. Hey the ice was going fast. Pretty tough to have an ice festival when its 50 degrees outside.
Re: GM Proving Grounds - New Firebird spotted, going fast
I was thinking that GM was going to bring back the old Chrysler Eagle Division. It will take the place of Saturn, since, Saturn is going to replace Oldsmobile. Just wait for a Theta chassis with all wheel drive and a turbo to come out. Might call it a Talon. Probably be a big success, as long as it is a 4 seater and has T-tops. Oh, it must have a V-10 with 9000 Hp and cost under $20,000. But, no one will buy it anyway, because they are so angry that it took so long to come out.
