Check out the GM Proving Grounds Album for the spy shots. I live less than 5 miles from the GM Proving Grounds and couldn't believe it when I saw this.

To be honest, it looks more like the Eagle on the back of a half dollar... clutching wheat in one talon and arrows in the other than a "Firebird" to me....

Now that I look at my own photos closer, I guess it is an eagle. I was just so excited to make a sarcastic "what does it mean" thread that I was blinded. DOH!
Re: GM Proving Grounds - New Firebird spotted, going fast
I'll spell it out for ya. I saw what at the time looked like a Firebird symbol. It was sponsored by the GM Milford Proving Grounds. I took the photos to make a joke about the way that people on this board jump to questions like "what is the hidden meaning in so and so's statement" and "what does it mean that the original firebird concepts are coming to an autoshow"
And the going fast part was referring to the fact that it was melting quickly. The next morning, the head fell off.
Do you get the joke now?
