The company is Changing World Technologies. And in the show they were creating biodiesel out of used car parts. It sounded like they are actually working with GM R&D on this.

Yay!

So exactly 16 years until we all get to drive lame appliances instead of cars.

And FWIW, E85 gets NO special treatment in the new CAFE agreement.

Um, ethanol is perfect for forced induction applications so if you think having a bunch of turbo and supercharged cars will be appliance like that is an interesting path to take.

I believe this was referring to the CAFE regulations and not anything to do particularly with ethanol.
