GM-GMPD to replace Northstar with Ultra V8
Re: GM-GMPD to replace Northstar with Ultra V8
350-375hp from a lil 4.7
. Good stuff.
How's the 7.5L v12 being pushrod affect Cadillac's image since this engine is supposed to be in their flagship vehicles? It seemed like they've been avoiding pushrods in their flagships such as the XLR with the N/A Northstar and even the STS-V which is said to be coming out with a S/c'ed Northstar. Only Cadi with a pushrod is the CTS-V.

Yeah, the V10 will be based of the Gen IV OHV engines, while the V12 will be based off this new 60* V6, V8, and then V12 platform. I think this will work great for GM. Everyone else just keeps chopping or adding cylinders to there engines, this would be a good move. Also, im sure now that its 60*, it could fit between the fenders of the CTS-V!
