Unhappy I'd buy the SKY, but it's a Saturn (edit: new pic found..I like it)

From what I've seen so far I like the styling of the SKY more than the Solstice, but I don't know if I could bring myself to buy a satrun. Does anybody feel the same?

I just found this...man it looks good (but its still a saturn)

H*ll no!

Images change. Look how quickly Cadillac's changed with just the addition of the CTS and a badge engineered Chevy Tahoe. All Caddy's additions since then has just solidified it.

Throw in the fact that Saturn has a fixed pricing while Pontiac dealers have shown a willingness to scalp the life out of a car, even when it's not selling (imagine what they are going to do with winner like the Solstice), I'd go to Saturn to buy the car, even if I didn't like it better than Pontiac's version.

Saturn or not, if the price is around $20,000, I'll be visiting both Pontiac and Saturn dealerships.

Will anything else differentiate the products, other than the appearance? Suspension, brakes, tire sizes?

I'm seriously considering one of these...does anyone know if the Sky will get some form of forced induction?

Looks like I might need to go to Detroit in a few days.......

Now that is nice. A car with looks like that may just be what Saturn needs to build its image. If that car sells at $20k I cant see them building enough. How many Miata's are sold per year?

After all of wasted years and billions, the Saturn brand stands for absolutely nothing except a dorky image. Saturns don't have the reliability, the quality or the resale value of the best imports. Worst of all, Saturn ownership sends the wrong sort of message about your current state of personal success.

11,000 Miatas left the showroom last year. This year's pace is slightly less.

The Sky looks amazing. If it sees the light of day looking like that, including those wheels, for $20k, there'll lineups around the block. And I'll be in that lineup.

That's a slick little car. A tad bit impractical for my needs but for 20k...that would be a sweet little 2nd car. Saturn or not that won't have any problems selling. How heavy are the cars on this platform? I remember people saying the Solstice is kind of hefty.

You wont buy a Saturn cause it says "Saturn" on it, yet you laugh at me cause I said I will never buy a Ford again....

Solstice is about 2800lbs.

I personally think it almost looks like it took styling cues from the C6 convertible. But that might just be me

Its a redering of a REAL car though , concept or not . The only difference being the badge in the grill . From my understanding , Opel or Vaxhal could not use this car due to Europeon crash height requirements with the front end . Im almost positive I read that somewhere , correct me if Im wrong .

Redzed - Saturn is about to get a very desireable lineup across the board . I think you will eat your words

Yeah, I know. Remember this rendering of a real car? Abit racier than the real McCoy.

Point taken , hehe . That Malibu pic is dead on though with the exception of the huge wheels and tires . The Sky at minimum would probably have 18's given the soltice will .
