Wow, with the new mustang, GTO, and soon to come charger, hopefully a few years out of college ill be able to pick one of these up at a decent price. too bad the camaro is gunna take forever to get here.....

 

Honestly friend, I can't say I have a clue as to any exact dimensions or specifics - everything is staying wrapped-up tight. In fact, too tight if you catch my drift, as if someone wants to spring a "surprise" after the Mustang comes out.

At this point in the game, you are privelidged to get to see peices of a pre-production car, and only a select few actually get to work on the assembly (and they are under 24hr watch by the FBI, CIA, KGB, and the guy sleeping in thee van parked down by the river.)

If you want a GUESS, I'll say that the wheelbase will be nearly identical if not exactly the same, but body overhang might be a bit different, with the Cougar getting more of it. I've heard rumors of hidden headlights like the original, but I've also heard the HID-style lamps are hard to make reliable due to ballast connections and the moving assembly. Concept should be based off the Messenger concept that (if we recall) got RAVE reviews at NAIAS 2003.
