First Chrysler Crossfire rolld off line...
Kick. ***. There's good weird (BMW Z3 coupe), and bad weird (Audi TT). I think the Crossfire is pretty damn cool. When was the last time we had a 3000 lb. 4-passenger rwd sport coupe? My 240SX is a VERY fun car with only 155hp (a bit lighter at 2800 lb., though). 215hp is enough for this car. Maybe I'll buy one and drop in a Hemi in it a few years down the road, woohoo!
Crossfire = Misguided. Sorry to be using that description about so many new cars, but I can't think of a better word, and so many seem to fit it including the SS, the Cheyenne, the Bel-Air (its front end anyway), the Pee-Pee Cruiser, the 350Z, any SUV, all Scions, the Ion, any rig-face Dodge truck, the new Dodge vans, any Korean vehicle, the Razor, the Cayenne, and those are just what I can think of right now.. just the tip of the iceberg. Those examples are all desperately misguided and now also this Crossfire is too. Totally ugly and the antithesis of attraction / passion in my opinion. Imagine looking for collectible cars 20 - 30 years from now.. cars that stood the test of time. How many really are there from the 90s and 00s? For cars like this Crossfire.. I for one would pass it up in the classifieds just like the dung beetle on wheels that it is.
