Talking Neat stuff, New issue of Chevy High Performance!!!

Just got the new issue of CHP, the first thing I do when I get a new car mag is to look for any info on a next gen Camaro.
Well, on page 98 we have a story entitled "Toy Story" GM's Collection Of Rare Prototypes And Concept Cars.

The neat thing about all of this is that the good folks of CHP are being given the tour by none other than our very own Scott Settlemire!

Since I don't have a scanner I will type up some of the finer points of the article...

"A few of the vehicles were still covered up.When we asked what they were, we were politely told not to lift the covers-these were 05-07 GM product offerings and were strictly off limits."

I know that product development is an on-going process, I had no idea that GM was already into the 07 model year.
Maybe it's just wishful thinking but what is the time frame we are looking at for a 5th gen....06-07?

The article then goes on to say...

"Naturally we asked Scott about a fifth-gen Camaro. He would not comment. But his smile and attitude convinced us there will be another rear wheel drive Chevy in the future worthy of the hallowed nameplate Camaro.Besides, you can bet that someone who refers to Camaros as his sons and Firebirds as his nephews is going to push for some grandchildren."

Thought that was kind of neat too!!
What do you guys think?

If there was anything under the sheet. It would be the rear drive Grand Prix. But I didn't even think that they had a working model of it. That doesn't sound right.

I would have said "screw it" and just ran over there and pull off all the sheets..............that would be nice.

We should find out where this place is
I'd take a weekend and go up there in an army suit with a camouflouge painted face and get us some spy shots
