Condense multiple vehicles in the same plant, or even the same assembly line, while closing as many single vehicle plants as possible.

The Jersey plant isn't the prime choice & GM isn't going to build an entirely new plant anywhere in the immediate future.

Without betraying names or sources, it's going to be an existing plant, either expanded or remodeled. Look at the plant that's going to make GM's Kappa cars as an example as to what to expect. It used to make just mid sized Saturns, now it's going to make at least 3 separate cars.
wait a sec the GM plant Younstown Ohio will be looking for a car, GM just dump 100's of millions into upgrading the plant (again) and it can prduce more cars then any gm plant in world per hour last i knew (about 120 per hour or more)

not only that they make make the seats a across the street at the LiAr plant, Good year is like hop, skip, and jump away, swables bread to feed the workers is only like 30 min drive, lets see what else...... LOL

and if you have't seen the Lordstown plant since the 80's, your in for a big surprise

Lear Seating is gone or closing, someone else got the bid for the GMX-001 seats, and is building a new plant if I remember right.

Also, from what my friends have told me, the new Delta line was built independant of the old J-Car line...

Lol, if they tried to make Camaros in NJ, they would probaby be stolen before they even made it off the assembly line.

Anybody know what is going into the Doraville, GA assembly plant? They used to assemble Oldsmobiles, but unfortunately Olds doesn't need it anymore and I haven't heard who/what is going to replace them in Doraville.

Its not newark! Linden is a nice area. Best part is that the Ranger and S10 plant are almost right across from eachother.
Id be outside with an AR-15 equiped with nighvision guarding the gates... no one is taking my Camaro.

Doraville currently makes the minivans, and I'm pretty sure they're going to continue making the new (fugly) ones too.
