The decision on where it's going to be made has been essentially made, it's a matter of working out the arrangements. Also there's other (*code name here*) parts that's gone out for work.

All that will come out soon enough by someone else. I ain't going to take the hit for that info getting out.

Is that "someone else" on this board, or will this announcement come by some other form of media?

Can we start posting bets on whare it will be made! Despite my better knowledge I'm going to take the US and maybe my home state of MI...... probably way off!
I know the factory in Canada, St Therese was not in the best geological position for the bulk of F-body sales, South!!!
I'm thinking GM would this time make a move to the US but I've heard plant talks in MI for years with certain platforms on the block.

Great news. Between reading threads at this site and reading that thread I think the new Camaro is farther along than most of us will ever know just as an individual in the other thread stated as well. I'm convinced the major hold-up has to do with arranging all the sites such they can meet production goals on not only the Camaro but ensure GM's current and future cars will be able to be produced in sufficient quantities. I think what a lot of this is boiling down to is logistics.

Any thoughts on when the car will actually be in showroom floors? Could it possibly show up middle of 2006? What about an introduction, when and where will the car be formally announced?

but as far as the christmas thing, for me its like i am worried i will get a wagon when i specifically didn't want it. i really hope those guys pulled through

edit: but if i could chose one person in the world to work on it, it would still be Red
